White Belt Guide

Enso Jiu Jitsu badge logo for our adult BJJ classes in Oregon City.

Welcome to

Enso Jiu Jitsu!

This is a guide for first-timers, designed to give you a framework to navigate your early days on our mats. Starting out can feel overwhelming, so we built this outline so you can focus on enjoying the challenge ahead.

Here is how to use this guide:

  • Read First, Return Often: Read this before your first class to get your bearings. Come back anytime you feel lost, overwhelmed, or need a sense of direction.

  • Your Map: A big-picture outline. No memorizing specific techniques required.

  • Your Home Base: A framework to fall back on whenever you feel stuck.

  • Ask for Guidance: When in doubt, ask your instructors. We are here to help you navigate the process and break down anything that feels unclear.

The linked guides below are password protected exclusively for active Enso Jiu Jitsu members. If you are currently training with us and don't have the passcode yet, please see or contact Keisuke to get access!
