COACHING UNIVERSITY GRADUATE 2008

Keisuke began his martial arts training in 2001. After years of dedicated practice, he received his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt in 2009 under Michael Chapman and Tom Oberhue. Continuing his study of grappling, he also earned his Shodan (Black Belt) in Judo from Roy Kawaji Sensei in 2021.
With a background rooted in competitive grappling and MMA, Keisuke brings years of firsthand experience to his coaching. As an amateur, he captured the FCFF Lightweight Championship twice with a 5-0 record, and later competed professionally, retiring with an undefeated 3-0 record. After concluding his competitive career in 2012, he dedicated himself fully to the art of instruction and the progress of his students. His classes are designed to be ego-free and educational, ensuring that every student—regardless of their starting point—enjoys a challenging and rewarding experience on the mats.
